What's New
On September 5th, the SMART Board voted to place a question on the 2024 November Ballot asking voters to support the expansion of regional public transit service, including long term operations funding for the Gondola to ensure operations and maintenance of the Gondola as public transit service after 2027, and to help fund future bus service expansions and existing bus system capital needs.
SMART (San Miguel Authority for Regional Transportation) is currently updating the 2019 Strategic Operating Plan which will help guide expansions and improvements of SMART’s services in the future.
SMART has released RFQ# 2023-3 requesting proposals from qualified multidisciplinary teams or individual firms to support SMART and its local partners in the development of a range of capital and operational projects. The complete RFQ, including anticipated project scope, timeline, submittal requirement etc, has been removed as the deadline has passed.
